Veecle OS in a Porsche test vehicle
Veecle OS was connected to a real Porsche test vehicle through its existing DDS middleware. A smartphone application built on Veecle OS was then used to command the vehicle's driving functions directly from the phone. The same framework ran on both the phone and the vehicle side, and it worked with the car's existing communication layer instead of replacing it.
This was a prototype demonstration on a test vehicle, not a production program. It showed that applications written once with Veecle OS can run across very different devices and plug into an existing vehicle platform with little integration work.
